Stigma2Strength: Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stigma2Strength?
Stigma2Strength helps people with ADHD and related challenges turn what feels like a weakness into a strength. Founded by Robin Livingston Richter, LICSW, it offers therapy and ADHD coaching for individuals, adults, and families.
Who is Robin Livingston Richter?
Robin Livingston Richter is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with more than 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist. She became a certified ADHD coach in 2016 and is the co-founder and Executive Director of Mental Health Navigators.
What is the difference between therapy and ADHD coaching?
Therapy focuses on emotional health, such as anxiety, mood, and relationships. ADHD coaching focuses on practical skills, such as organization, time management, and follow-through. Many clients benefit from one or both, and the initial consultation helps decide which fits best.
Who do you work with?
Robin provides traditional therapy to adults, teens, and parents and also works with people affected by ADHD and related challenges, including parents supporting a child with ADHD.
Who can receive therapy from Robin?
Therapy is available to people living in Minnesota, where Robin is licensed. You need to be in Minnesota at the time of each session.
How do I get started?
Book an initial consultation. It's a 45-minute session to talk about your goals and decide whether therapy, coaching, or both are the right fit.
How much do sessions cost?
See our current therapy pricing and ADHD coaching package offerings.
Do you accept insurance?
No. However, we do accept HSA payments and payments via credit card.
Are sessions in person or online?
Most sessions are held virtually, either via Zoom or telephone. Robin also sees some clients in person in Minnetonka.
